Mina started with a pretty simple idea: getting dressed shouldn’t always start with buying something new. I wanted to explore what an AI stylist could look like if it actually understood your wardrobe, your taste, and what you have going on that day.

Mina app screens: Closet, Ask Mina, Outfit Builder, and Style Memory

The concept combines your closet with context like weather, occasion, mood, and personal style to suggest complete looks from pieces you already own. I also explored a Style Memory layer, where saving, wearing, skipping, or adjusting recommendations gradually teaches Mina things that are harder to capture in a profile, like the silhouettes you reach for, how polished you like to feel, or which combinations never quite feel like you.

The part I was most interested in was making the AI feel less like a chatbot giving fashion advice and more like a product that develops a point of view with you over time. The goal wasn’t to automate personal style, but to make your own closet easier to rediscover and experiment with.
