Project overview

CUE is an internal AI creative production platform designed to make complex generation workflows accessible to non-technical creative teams. Instead of working directly in ComfyUI, users could launch reusable, brand-specific workflows, manage projects, run large batch generations, and review outputs through a streamlined interface. Behind the scenes, each workflow combined Python-based brand configuration, creative logic, and ComfyUI pipelines to produce consistent, production-ready imagery at scale.

Challenges

Creative production relied on complex node graphs, manual prompt editing, and repetitive setup that slowed teams and created inconsistent results across brands. Each client required unique creative direction including casting, styling, lighting, composition, and photography guidelines which couldn't be solved with generic prompts alone. The challenge was designing a system that encoded those creative standards into reusable workflows while remaining simple enough for non-technical creatives to operate independently.

Results

I designed CUE as a modular production platform that separated creative logic from workflow execution. Brand-specific configuration layers translated creative guidelines into deterministic Python logic, while reusable workflow templates handled generation through ComfyUI. The platform allowed users to select a project, launch CSV-driven batch runs, monitor progress, review generated assets, and reuse workflows across brands without rebuilding pipelines or editing prompts.


Results:

  • Enabled non-technical creative teams to generate large batches of on-brand imagery without interacting directly with ComfyUI.

  • Standardized generation logic across brands through reusable configuration layers rather than manual prompting.

  • Created a scalable foundation for managing projects, workflows, batch production, and creative review within a single interface.

  • Reduced repetitive workflow setup by turning complex AI pipelines into reusable production templates.
